A new mixed feed for laying hens older than 40 weeks containing wheat, corn, extracted soybean meal, rapeseed oil, minerals, amino acids and vitamins, as well as hemp seed and magnesium oxide increases the quality of the shell and albumen and the content of anti-inflammatory n-3 fatty acids and antioxidants in the yolk while maintaining high performance in older laying hens. Increasing the strength of the shell will lead to the mitigation of economic losses that occur due to the decreasing quality of the shell in older laying hens. In addition, the resulting product will be enriched with nutrients important for human and animal health and product shelf life.
