A workshop organised by NutriVet s.r.o. and the Research Institute of Animal Production, v.v.i. Prague-Uhříněves focused on the results of the TAČR Sigma project TQ11000023 (sub-project TQDP07) dedicated to the preservation of silages and total mixed rations (TMR) for ruminants. The lecture presented research findings on combinations of citric acid with bacterial inoculants or with formic acid as effective agents for suppressing undesirable microorganisms. The programme included an expert discussion on the practical application of these findings in agricultural practice.
