| Abstract | The goal of this study was to find effect of CSN2 and CSN3 genotypes on breeding values for milk production parameters (milk, protein and fat yield and protein and fat content) in Czech Fleckvieh. Statistical analysis was carried out in program SAS usinga restricted maximum likelihood method (REML). The most frequent genotype of CSN2 locus was A2A2. Other detected genotypes were A1A1, A1A2, A2A3 and A2B. The effect of CSN2 locus was found on all observed parameters except of breeding value for proteincontent. The most frequent genotype of CSN3 locus was AB. Further were detected genotypes AA, AE, BB and BE. CSN3 locus was significantly related only to breeding values for protein content and protein yield. Given results enable better understanding ofgenetic background of Czech Fleckvieh breed. Therefore the extension of this research is recommended to get new information usable in breeding. |
