Abstract

Optimal nutrition means to provide regular conditions for rumen fermentation. During parturition intervals the nutrition requirements are very different, so it is necessary to take care of composition of feeding ration in given periods (dry period, postpartum period) as well as of optimal cow condition (Czech Fleckvieh cows 3.5-4, Holstein ones 3.5-3.7 BCS).
