The reliability of breeding value estimations is one of fundamental prerequisites for genetic progress in selected population. Processing of data from performance testing by BLUP Animal Model method contributes markedly to improvement of reliability of these estimations. However, the precise measurements in performance testing, safe parentage determination and formation of testing environment are necessary. Sheep breeding in our country is limited by absence of artificial insemination.
