The goal of the Department of Animal Production is to expand knowledge in scientific disciplines related with the management of all species and categories of farm animals and its transfer to farming conditions to ensure sustainable development of agriculture. The department members participate in the development of research concepts in the sphere of its activity. The department has 90 members and is headed by doc. Ing. Petr Homolka, CSc., Ph.D.
