Abstract

Precision farming is a set of technologies aimed at making farming more efficient, protecting the environment and overall sustainability of agricultural production. In modern agriculture, technologies are becoming an indispensable tool for ensuring efficiency, sustainability and animal welfare. Precision farming, as an advanced approach to managing agricultural processes, finds its application not only in crop production, but also in animal production. Advanced technologies, such as automated feeding systems and health monitoring through sensors, make it possible to obtain data on each individual animal and return to individual animal care even in intensive breeding systems. These technologies ensure that each animal receives exactly what it needs, while increasing productivity. Modern approaches also emphasize sustainability and ethics. Modern pork production involves the use of digital farming techniques at all stages of production. Precision livestock farming can be divided into several interconnected phases: sensing (data collection), algorithmic processing, and decision-making and management.
