Abstract

The methodology was written because of present requirements of breeders and National Reference Centre for Conservation and Use of Farm Animals Gene Resources. The Přeštice Black-Pied pig breed will be bred in close population. The selection program willbe created being based on stabilizing selection of performance qualities included in performance recording. Cryopreservation of boar semen will be used. Based on the breed, the influence of both environment and breeding measures on selection efficiency would be studied.
