In the publication, there are presented the recommendations that are important for an exercise of technologies in system of cattle breeding in LFA by maximum utilization of permanent grasslands in the form of pasture and conserved forage. The aim of thepublication is to give to farmers the recommendations for the choice of suitable perennial fodder crops and for the permanent grasslands management by their utilization in cattle nutrition, and other recommendations for harvesting, conservation, storage,treatments and feeding. It is concerned the ways for obtaining the high-quality conserved feeds from the quality biomass of perennial fodder crops and permanent grasslands by as low as possible wastes, and furthermore for their effective exploitation inthe feeding rations of cattle. Based on the knowledge and practices of the authors there are mentioned the methods for the qualitative evaluation of silages made from perennial fodder crops and permanent grasslands.
