Abstract

In the experiment, the optimum ratio of n-6:n-3 polyene fatty acids (4:1) was achieved in the samples of muscle and fatty tissues if ground linseed was supplemented to diet for fattened pigs. According to the results, the nutritive value of pork could beimproved by supplementing of natural components with high content of unsaturated fatty acids to fattened pig diet.
