In recent decades, there has been substantial development of precision agriculture technologies across all sectors of livestock production, including cattle farming. Modern systems incorporating robotics, automated devices, and artificial intelligence aim to facilitate daily farm management, improve decision-making and save time and labor. A crucial question, however, remains: which technologies genuinely enhance animal welfare and how should the measured data be correctly interpreted?
