The paper is focused on analysing the possibility of preventing the introduction of Foot-and-mouth disease virus, and other dangerous disease pathogens into cattle farmings, and its spread within the farm area by animals, people, wild animals, vehicles, bedding, faeces, zootechnical and veterinary tools and products based on the analysis of critical control points including factors that influence the survival of the SLAK virus.
