Breeding of suckler cows represents extensive exploitation of permanent grasslands by grazing. The objective of this are the production of cattle for fattening and the performance of many non-productive functions. Economic results of suckler cows breeding are influenced particularly by reproduction, amounts of subsidies for non-productive functions performance, health status of animals and weight gains of breeded calves and prices of sold ones.
