Abstract

Three hundred thirteen Czech Fleckvieh cows were investigated for CSN2 (beta- casern) and CSN3 (kappa-casein) genotypes using the PCR-RFLP method, milk quality parameters a coagulation properties. The parameters of milk production were obtained from the Official Database of Progeny Testing. The objective of this study was to dctermine the joint effects of CSN2 and CSN3 haplotypes on the parameters of production, quality, and coagulation of milk in Czech Fleckvieh cows.
